Obama's Muslim Charity and Vengeance.

Blogger: Obama's Muslim Charity anDuring his recent speech in Cairo, Egypt, Obama said in a sober way: "The conditions the Palestinians live now are intolerable," on quote. Sure they are. Israel turned Gaza into rubble a few months ago, and has imposed a quarrantine to anything going in - other than U.N. food supplies. The Palestinians are trying to rebuilt their homes destroyed by Israeli bombing with mud squares
because importing bricks is not allowed into Gaza by Israel. Importing them can only be done through Israel, by Israeli contractors who will mark up the price, and become rich upon the destitute Gazans. Of course, the poor Gazans cannot afford overpriced bricks, and, to ad insult to injury, anybody who might want to donate any help to them can be changed for "providing support to a terrorist organization." The Palestinian group Hamas controls Gaza, but is has been branded a "terrorist organization" by the U.S. and Israel. They can help only by giving help through the Fatah group, also known as the Palestinian Authority, a docile group that has been in negotiations with Israel since the 1993 Oslo Peace Accord for Palestine, but have gotten nothing from Israel. Israel has just used those 16 years to built the West Bank with Jewish settlements, while CBS "60 Minutes" corresponded Bob Simon reported a few years back that Fatah officials were building villas for themselves, and they were driving Mercedes and BMW's while the sewers in the Palestinians neighborhoods were running in the middle of the streets. That is why the Palestinians by a majority elected Hamas as their leadership, because its officials are nor corrupt, and they don't live in splendor. They put people first - not themselves. But they also hate the U.S. for its support of Israel that have given them
61 years of misery and untold human suffering.

Then Obama comes to Cairo to tell Arabs and Muslims to let bygones be bygones, and make peace with the U.S. And to impress them, he throws in "his sympathy for the intolerable conditions the Palestinians live in." The hypocrisy in his statement is that one week earlier, Shukri Abu Baker and Ghassan Elashi -Founders of the Holy Land Palestinian charity, have been convicted by the U.S. to 65 years in prison for collecting donations in the U.S. and providing it to Hamas, the elected Palestinian government of Gaza, for social services to the poor.

Of course Hamas and Hezbollah are militarily supported by Iran, and by consequence are tough opponent groups to the U.S. and Israel in the Middle East. And any armed groups in Middle East that are U.S. and Israel enemies are labeled "terrorist groups" to reduce their influence and effectiveness. And Israel has used its lobbying power and influence in the U.S. to pass laws assigning
Hamas and Hezbollah "terrorist status." Of course, Hezbollah bombed the U.S. barracks in Lebanon in 1983 and killed 237 U.S.
soldiers, so one can say the label is justified - even though the Lebanese may disagree because the CIA had planted a U.S. bomb in Beirut in an assassination attempt against a U.S. opponent two years earlier that killed 81 Lebanese civilians. But definitely the U.S. has no beef against Hamas -other than Israeli influence.
By comparison, groups opposing U.S. and Israeli enemies, like the Iranian Mujaheddin-e Khalq (MEK), based in Iraq and engage in bombing and attacks against the Iranian regime, are pampered by the U.S., and probably financed, but above all are not labeled "terrorist organizations" - and if they are, the label is just cosmetic for the public eye. And here is the difference: Hamas and Hezbollah provide for the poor schools, free medical services, free food banks, and free building help. When Israel bomber Lebanon for 68 days in 2006, Hezbollah gave the people whose houses were destroyed by the Israeli bombing money to rebuilt them - not the Lebanese government. And Hamas is doing whatever it can now to help rebuilt Gaza after Israel turned it into rubble recently -given the Israeli quarantine limitations on Gaza described in the first paragraph. And to add insult to injury, we provide Israel $ 3.5 billion a year in U.S. aid, plus all the weaponry it needs to turn Lebanon and Gaza into rubble, kill thousands with impunity, and all the U.S. vetoes Israel needs at the U.N. Security Council. But if someone gives a $10 to Hamas to help Gaza's survivors restore electricity and water supplies, they can be changed for "supporting terrorism." By comparison, the Iranian Mujaheddin-e Khalq, doesn't provide any schools, food banks, or medical services to any Iranian needy. All their funding goes to planning, buying explosives, and carry out attacks on our and Israel's enemy - Iran, not to ameliorate any "deplorable conditions" for Iranians. And Jewish organizations, who worry about the rising power and influence of Iran, can support it, and contribute to it, freely without worrying of getting charged as terrorist supporters or thrown into prisons for 65 years.

I, therefore, find it quite hypocritical for Obama to stand in the Middle of the Arab world and quote verses from the Holy Koran toimpress Muslims, and also brag that "his Muslim father's ancestors practiced the Muslim faith for generations", then call the "living Palestinian conditions intolerable," but then omits by design to tell his audience that "charity as mandated by the Holy Koran is not allowed by U.S. law if it is given to U.S. and Israeli political opponents." The U.S. and Israeli strategic interests are above the Holy Koran, and if they stray from that requirement, they should expect either U.S. bombs (in Afghanistan and Pakistan) or Israeli bombs to fall on their heads - plus U.S. prosecution. Allah Akbar, "God is Great", can be great only if it is practiced in a way that protects the U.S. and Israeli interests - not as Muslims -including his paternal ancestors - have practiced it for 1400 years.
